Raspberry, rose petals, white pepper, light oak and coffee. Did somebody say Sangiovese? Yes we did; Maryhill reserve Sangiovese. Maryhill reserves have varying levels of oak and the kiss of it given here is delightful. Black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate and mint swirl in this slightly smoked easy drinking wine. Serve up the spaghetti and enjoy or satisfactorily sip your Sangiovese solo. Either way you'll be pleased. Cheers!

This two-time gold medal winning wine opens with aromas of raspberry, oak and smoke mingled with black cherry. On the palate a hint of caramel gives way to coffee and white pepper with good dark fruit notes. Containing a nice complexity with a medium body and soft acidity this wine is a food friendly offering as well as being very pleasant on its own. The smooth finish is dark toffee mixed with a bit of cranberry and plum. This is truly an easy drinking, crowd-pleasing wine.

Bright bing cherry and zesty red fruits mingle with a subtle hints of darker sweet andsicey wood aromas. The entry of this wine is almost delicate, with red fruit and leather supported by talc-like tannins and juicy fruit and leather supported by talc-like tannins and a juicy lingering acidity.
Acclaim: Cellar Tracker: 89:Cana's Feast Wine Club Pickup Party: Wine #3, paired with lamb meatballs with lentils. Lots of tobacco and leather in this wine, which is drinking very nicely for such a young Sangiovese (the winery recommends holding until 2012).
