A muscular ripped rookie. We bottled this wine January 27th. We aged it 27 months in 2nd year Saury French ok -- the grape flavors were so deep and complex that we minimized the oak aromas to retain the Cabernet richness. (One of our many faults is a prejudice for big bad reds.) The heady CAbernet aroma suggests richness and complexity to come. The nose of sweet toasted spice jumps right out of the glass. We loved this wine before the first drop touched out lips. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Pepper Bridge Vineyard. The wine is dark, the nose complex and the fruit is beautifully integrated with earthy signatures from the vineyard . Medium-full bodied with mouth filling soft tannins and a silky finish that lingers gracefully. This is an elegant wine.

This Cabernet is the result of blending the fruit from five outstanding Walla Walla Valley vineyards. Windrow, Dwelley, LaTour, Les Collines and Spofford Station. From an early age, this wine has shown complexity, and continues to evolve.
