DelFosse Vineyards and Winery 2005 Cuvee Laurent View Label Blend of Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc DelFosse Vineyards and Winery (Faber, VA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines) Winemaker: Michael Shaps 45% Chambourcin, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in July 2006. Released in August 2006. Nose – This wine exhibits an unreduced nose with cranberry notes and cardimon spice with hints of chocolate . Taste – A well balanced wine with strawberry tart notes and soft tannins. Food Pairing – A very versatile wine that will pair well with lighter meats, poultry and game.
