Byzance is carefully crafted from the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. The 2007 vintage was furthur enhanced by the additon of the varitalCounoise and CinsaultDeep Garnet in color, the wine has complex aromas of dried cherries, rose petals, bay leaf, white pepper and clove. Balanced for food, and age-ability, the wine has dark fruit and spice flavors which linger on the palate.

Barbera is a grape that hails from Italy, notably the Piedmont region in the northwestern section of the country. Our Washington-grown Barbera is garnet colored and wildly aromatic with hints of white pepper and fig that accent its core of ripe fruit. Rich and velvety on the palate with flavors of cherries and berries supported by complementary notes of earth and vanilla. Tremendously balanced and wonderfully styled, offering more depth and Old World charm than most of its peers.
