Enticing aromas of pineapple, pear, spice and lemon. The palate is well balanced, with rich flavors of baked apple, peach, ginger and spice. The sugar at harvest was 27 degrees Brix, and the wine has 6% residual sugar. Pair with lemon meringue pie, peach cobbler, gingersnaps, or enjoy as an aperitif. (SILVER MEDAL)

Cobblestone Chardonnay is made entirely from the fruit of our cobblestone-laden, old vines family estate in the Arroyo Seco appellation of central Monterey County. Reminiscent of the cool-climate Chardonnays of Burgundy, Cobblestone Chardonnay is stainless steel fermented and then aged in French oak. With no malolactic fermentation, it maintains a crisp style that isn't excessively oaky or buttery, resulting in an exceptionally well-balanced and extremely versatile food-pairing wine.

Nice white gold color, brilliant, the wine opens on grapefruit, citrus, white flowers and fresh cut grass. It is vibrant and fresh. The mouthfeel is generous but light and crisp, it is somehow a full but not heavy wine. There is some minerality that lingers and that creates a balanced feel with a great acidity and freshness.
