  • Excellent clarity and an appealing green-gold color create a pleasant first impression in the glass. Aromas of peach, pear, melon and pineapple are complemented by subtle floral tones including clover and fruit tree blossom. The flavors follow the aromas with the addition of apricot and apple.   • “le nord” is our northern block of the vineyard and is southwest facing, planted in Jory soil and at the perfect elevation. We believe that a young Pinot Noir should possess an enjoyable fruit upfront, with intense characteristics complimented by the moderate use of new oak. This wine is made with approximately 25% new French Oak in order to let the “terroir” show without having to wait years for the aging process to take place. We recommend enjoying this wine in the first five to seven years.

  • Appellation: Yamhill-Carlton District Lenne Estate (Yamhill, OR) -- (Winery Info & All Wines)
  • The 2006 Lenné Estate Pinot Noir is a selection of the best barrels from each vintage. The backbone of the 2006 vintage came from the pommard clone planted in the upper block. This wine is a dark garnet with a complex nose of black mixed berry fruit and nuances of chocolate and cola. The 2006 Lenné Estate has an rich mid palate and an even longer finish. The wine is powerful, yet reflective of the softness of the 2006 vintage.
