Silver Thread is a 10-acre wine estate growing grapes organically on the east shore of Seneca Lake, in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes wine district. We focus exclusively on wine varieties that show best in our growing conditions: Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. This is a low-tech, ecologically oriented operation equally devoted to making fine wine and doing it in a responsible, environmentally benign way.
