The sexpot of red wines, Merlot is comfortable anywhere, anytime, with anything! Its bright ruby red color with medium body has plenty happening on the palate. Cherries, berries and plums predominate, but chocolate, coffee and licorice are also present. The finish is long and velvety with touches of smoke and oak making this wine a pleasure to meet! (True to its sexpot image, Merlot will cozy up delightfully with most foods!)
