This uncommon wine is traditionally used in French Rhone blends along with Syrah and Grenache. The fruit comes from Larner Vineyard which has established an outstanding reputation for Rhone varietals. This 100% Mourvedre was produced in French oak barrels and aged for 18 months. This wine is well structured with plum and berry fruit flavors and a light gamey finish that makes this the perfect combination for spicy dishes of pork, lamb or venison.
