  • Galleon's Treasure is a hearty and full, aromatic, dry red wine that goes well with grilled meats and barbecues. (The distinctive bottle is a type of caravel, a ship with two or three masts used by Europeans beginning in the 15th Century for long explorative voyages.   • 45% Chambourcin, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in July 2006. Released in August 2006. Nose – This wine exhibits an unreduced nose with cranberry notes and cardimon spice with hints of chocolate . Taste – A well balanced wine with strawberry tart notes and soft tannins. Food Pairing – A very versatile wine that will pair well with lighter meats, poultry and game.
