  • After many trial cuvees, our Merlot is 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon to give the wine both structure and lively fruit. It spent 16 months on French oak. The wine starts with a bright red color and a combination of ripe red cherries, blackberries from the Merlot with a hint on herbal complexity from the Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium bodied with an excellent acid/tannin balance. and a long finish.

Vibrant acidity, medium to full body, and good freshness are surprising for a Napa-based wine, but the winemaking team is undoubtedly seeking freshness and vibrancy.
