4	Spann Vineyards 2006 Mo Zin Appellation: California Blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Spann Vineyards (Glen Ellen, CA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines) Winemaker: Betsy Spann This Provence-style blend is 42% Zinfandel, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Petite Sirah and 8% Syrah. Zinfandel from several old vine vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley and Mendocino County create a marvelous base of blackberry flavors while Mourvedre adds bursts of raspberry and a palate coating, meaty/beefy taste. Petite Sirah adds a touch of peppery spice while Syrah adds richness and body.
