1	Fulkerson Winery 2005 Delaware Appellation: Finger Lakes Fulkerson Winery (Dundee, NY) -- (Winery Info & All Wines) Winemaker: Sayre Fulkerson A vinifera crossed with a labrusca hybrid by P. H. Provost in 1850. This older variety was mainly used in sparkling wine originally. Delaware produces moderate yields of red grapes and is winter hardy. Sugars are normally higher and acidity is lower than Catawba. A difficult wine to find that is produced as a varietal. This intriguing old native variety has a light tropical fruit nose.
