3	Big Basin Vineyards 2008 GSM Rose' View Label Appellation: Santa Cruz Mountains Rosé of Grenache Blend Blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Big Basin Vineyards (Saratoga, CA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines) Winemaker: Bradley Brown Our 2010 vintage Rose' benefited from the addition for three new vineyard sources that provided us with extra Grenache and Mourvedre that we were able to include in the blend. The final blend is 39% Grenache, 50% Syrah and 11% Mourvedre. Barrel fermented in used French, but not neutral, oak with indigenous yeast fermentation. We also inhibited malolactic fermentation to preserve more of the fresh acidity in the finished wine. 5	Blair Fox Cellars 2007 Haylee's Rose Appellation: Santa Ynez Valley Rosé of Grenache Blend Blend of Grenache, Counoise, Syrah, Blair Fox Cellars (Los Olivos, CA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines) Winemaker: Blair Fox This Rose is 45% Grenache Noir, 45% Counoise, and 10% Syrah from Rodney's Vineyard in Los Olivos. I picked them on the same day at lower sugars and crushed/destemmed them together, cold-soaked them on their skins for 24 hours and pressed them off the next day. The juice was fermented in older French Oak barrels at cool temperature. At the end of fermentation I added SO2 to prevent malo-lactic fermentation.
