  • Our Alba Rosa was the first “blush wine” to be produced in New Jersey back in 1984. We used the Marechal Foch grape (simply called Foch here) because when it is lightly pressed and fermented cool, it makes a wine with a delicious strawberry / raspberry character. The traditional method of making a port wine is employed; to halt the fermentation process, pot-stilled brandy is added to the must, so that a degree of residual sugar remains in the finished wine.
