  • Winemaker: Sayre Fulkerson
  • Developed by J. F. Ravat, a French hybridizer, in the 1920's. It is a cross between Pinot Nior and a Seibel hybrid. It is also known as Vignoles. Natural high acidity must be balanced with sweetness. Enticingly different! Aromas of frsh pear, nectarine, honey and a dash of ginger are followed by lively flavors brimming with sweet apple with a burst of citrus on the finish. Bring on the cheesecake!
