Long finish and a lingering after taste that says “another sip”. Will get better and better 4-6 years and hold for 5 years after that

  • 2005 was an extraordinary vintage. Harvest was slow and leisurely, which is not unusual for Monterey. Bud-break occurred late February, which is typically two weeks ahead of other regions. The extra month of hang time on the vine produces fruit-forward characteristics that differentiate Monterey from other areas.

  • This 2000 Blanc de Blancs is superbly crisp and inviting. It exudes elegant fruit aromas with hints of fresh Asian ginger, apples, pears and just a whisp of white pepper. The texture is supple and fresh - slghtly creamy - lasting just long enough to leave hints of freshly baked baguette and delicate hazelnut essense. The flavors are reminiscent of peach, Fuji apple, warm patisserie with a tropical vanilla bouquet.

The nose for our Sonoma County Chardonnay combines honeysuckle, peaches and apples. The palate is rich and lush with almonds and a touch of vanilla. The wine is well structured and impeccably balanced.
