    Andrew Will Winery
    2008 Champoux Vineyard View Label
  • Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills
  • Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot Andrew Will Winery (Vashon, WA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines)
  • Winemaker: Chris Camarda
  • Although this wine has much more Cabernet Sauvignon than the 2007, the wines seem to be more like sisters than cousins. The 2008 stands not in the shadows of 2007 as I had first thought it might but right next to it. It is a wine that although different in structure, nevertheless possesses all that it needs to satisfy now and in the future.

    Andrew Will Winery
2007 Mays Discovery Cabernet Sauvignon View Label
  • Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills Andrew Will Winery (Vashon, WA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines)
  • Winemaker: Chris Camarda
  • This wine is no wallflower and shows power, depth and body often found in fruit from much older vines. The wine has superb texture, appealing brightness and plenty of cherry and herb flavors. It finishes broadly and with medium length. We feel like it will continue to evolve well into 2012.

    Canyon's Edge Winery
    2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills Canyon's Edge Winery (Prosser, WA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines)
  • Winemaker: John Haw
  • An incredible vintage of 100% Caernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine shows a forward bright red fruit with well developed structure, a long finish and a velvety mouthfeel that gives away the aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, sweet oak and spices. The finish show intricate flavors of ripe cherries and unsweetened chocolate. This Wine makes a delicious match with a good sirloin steak and any other meat roasted or grilled.

    Canyon's Edge Winery
    2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
  • Appellation: Horse Heaven Hills Canyon's Edge Winery (Prosser, WA) -- (Winery Info & All Wines)
  • Winemaker: John Haw
  • This Hand Crafted Reserve Cab is immersed with big flavors, sweet black currant fruit, strong oak 'shell' surrounding nascent Cabernet fruit -- classic Cabernet Sauvignon like in northern Bordeaux where cool-climate dictates. Intriguing 'edginess', multiple layers of scents and flavors. Excellent for roasted or grilled meats.
