It is very similar to Northern Rhône wines, with its intense blackberry and blueberry note which marry well with the subtle flavors of smoked meat. The mouth is very lush, yet still maintains a strong backbone. The tannins are full and elegant and carry throughout the length of this wine. This wine is truly enjoyable in its youth and over time will continue to develop nicely.
