Deep garnet in color reflecting the origin of a warm harvest, the wine leaves uniformly thick leggs dripping down the glass. Bouquet displays hallmark Brunello notes of anise, black cherry, pepper and leafy tobacco, with French oak serving as a background nuance. The mouthfeel is warm, lengthy, and filled with red and black fruit concentration. Minimal tannic impact allows the wine increased weight from the mid-palate onwards and leaves a very juicy impression in the throat. This wine has co...

Acclaim: "If there is a wine whose pants should come off, surely it is the Brunello. It is big and come-hither, a full-blown Rubens of a wine, with a bouquet of cherry whipped into shape by a little leather and tobacco. Rich as a velvet curtain." Sonoma Magazine

Winemaker: Tim Crowe
The wines appearance is brilliant and ruby red. The first impression in the bouquet is of sweet tobacco and a slight earthiness, later growing into more perfumed aromas of black cherry and cinnamon. The attack on the palate is smooth, warm, caressing, presenting mineral and stone fruit flavors from start to finish. It is a very accessible wine at this early stage of its development and incredibly food friendly.
Acclaim: WINE ENTHUSIAST - 92 Points "An absolutely lovely wine. The delicious flavors come in waves of currants, wild berries, peppery spices, chocolate-covered mint, licorice and cedary oak influences. Fully drinkable now due to the finely ground, velvety tannins."
