Agate Ridge Vineyard
2009 Primitivo
View Label
Appellation: Rogue Valley
Agate Ridge Vineyard
(Eagle Point, OR)
--
(Winery Info & All Wines)
Winemaker: B. Kiley Evans
Our 2009 Primitivo is an elegant, pure expression of Agate Ridge's unique terroir. Racy red raspberry and blueberry tones precede lithe red currant, cranberry and rhubarb flavors with a kiss of smoky oak. Well integrated acidity and balance give this gem a smooth elegant finish. Drink this tantalizing wine now but expect it to improve with cellaring for two to four years. Enjoy this wine with a bevy of food options but some of our favorites are pizza, rustic Italian cuisine and lamb.
