2005 Pinot Noir
Appellation: Umpqua Valley
This award winning varietal is a blend of dry farmed Wadenswill (1998) and Dijon (1983) clones of Pinot Noir. The wine has aged to a velvety smooth feel, displaying aromas of black cherry, and currant; introducing a well-balanced and complex palate of cola, and graham flavors; finishing with a hint of cinnamon. Pinot Noir is a great dinner wine with lamb, fish, pasta, and our favorite...Salmon. Recipe for Rod's salmon marinade is included with Pinot Noir orders.
