Keswick Vineyards is taking pleasure seriously as a family owned and operated winery situated on the historic Edgewood Estate just outside of Charlottesville. We specialize in making small lots of award winning wines and encourage you to come visit us and give them a try. Our tasting room is open daily from 9-5 so bring the family (pets welcome!) and have a picnic, buy a bottle of wine, sit outside in the courtyard and enjoy. Winemaker Stephen Barnard	Stephen Barnard studied winemaking and viticulture in his native South Africa. He traveled to Virginia in 2002 to make the very first vintage of wines for a brand new winery, Keswick Vineyards, owned by the Schornberg family. He originally planned to return to South Africa after perfecting his winemaking skills in the harsh Virginia climate, but fell in love with the area, the wines, and the owner of the winery's daughter ;) He is now happy to officially be part of the Schornberg family and continues to earn many local and international awards for the outstanding wines he produces at Keswick Vineyards.
