  • Our planting of sangiovese grosso was established in 1982, using cuttings from a very well known producer of Brunello di Montalcino. The warm days and cool evenings at our San Marcos Road vineyard site are very well suited to the grape; full maturity is possible every year. The combination of climate and soil produces a sangiovese with excellent balance, complexity and varietal character.
