Winemaker Terrence Atkins Terrence Atkins was born and raised in Goldendale, Washington on a farm north of town. He was a farmer raising cattle, hay and Wheat with his family. Until he started learning to make wine by studying the UCDavis texts and worked with two Washington winemakers. Then in 2000 and 2001 he and his daughter Kimiko started planting the wine grapes again in the family property in the community of Maryhill. Terrence produced his first vintage in 2002 on his own. The Winery and Vineyards are a family business with Kimiko managing the Vineyards and Terrence making the wine, Takashi is the marketing manager and Evelyn manages the Wine club.
