Voted Virginia's Favorite Winery in 2007, Pearmund Cellars is located in the beautiful foothills of eastern Fauquier County, VA, conveniently close to Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Our 7500-square-foot geothermal winery and 25-acre vineyard produces Chardonnay, Viognier, Riesling, Late Harvest Vidal, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Ameritage, and other award-winning Virginia wines. Enjoy Virginia Wine Dinners in Pearmund Cellars' Barrel Room Perfect for your dinner party or business meeting, our Italian-tiled barrel room features Spanish antique-gold light fixtures and unique barrel stacking systems. Our tasting room has a warm, friendly ambience for tasting and relaxing. Outside, picnic tables are placed under large shade trees and beside Chardonnay vines. Gourmet snacks, wine-related gifts, and artwork may be purchased at the winery. Children are welcome to play in our toy corner, throw frisbees and balls outdoors, or visit our wine dog, Redmund. Virginia Wineries and Virginia Vineyards Tours Start at Pearmund Cellars' Tasting RoomExperience our unique wine tour and wine tasting, then relax and picnic while surrounded by picturesque views on a farm dating back to the 1740s. Managing Partner for Pearmund Cellars and Winery at La Grange. Winemaker for several Virginia wineries, receiving many fine wine honors including Virginia Governor's Gold Medals. Speaker for winemaker dinners, advanced winery tours, and detailed vineyard management discussions. Previously, consulted for The Country Vintner distributor, managed wine sales for Total Beverage, and started the first mobile bottling truck for East Coast wineries. His industry leadership positions have included: Chairman of the Board for the Virginia Wine and Food Society, President of the Virginia Vineyards Association, Publisher of "The Grape Press," founding member of the Blue Ridge Wine Way, and nationally certified wine judge/instructor for the American Wine Society. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
