Overlooking the majestic slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains, nearly sixty miles south of San Francisco and only three miles outside of downtown Los Gatos, lie eighty pristine acres forming Black Ridge Vineyards. Here, the estate's elevation and geographic orientation is ideal for protection from the harsh coastal winds and lingering fog to receive a full day of sun. The vineyard microclimate also benefits from the Lexington Reservoir half a mile below. Winemaker Bill Brosseau The inherent, discernible attributes of our vineyard are reflected in each of our wines. Our rich, floral whites and our concentrated, decadent reds are great representations of what our vineyard has to offer now and shows promise as to what it holds for the future. With the tremendous efforts and attentiveness of vineyard manager Ruben Balderas and winemaker Bill Brosseau, along with the devotion and support from the rest of the Black Ridge team, we proudly present to you our very first release of Black Ridge Wine.
