We believe that everyone has a siren song. Ours is the romance and beauty of making hand-crafted wines in the old tradition. This is truly a labor of love and passion. We make our wines for people who seek discovery and variety. People just like you.

Every Siren Song wine is inspired by an adventure, a journey, or a delicious meal that was experienced with family and friends. We name each wine accordingly. You'll find the unique story for our wines on the back of every bottle.

    Winemaker Kevin Brown
Our winemaker, Kevin Brown, holds the creative vision for Siren Song. Having grown-up in California as the second son in a family of "foodies," he experienced great wines from an early age. As an adult, he continued his wine and food education while living and working in France, Spain, and Malaysia. Whether it was while he was training to be a chef in Provence or while drinking "vino tint" and running with the bulls in Pamplona, he heard the siren song of winemaking and it became a life-long seduction.

    2009 Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Appellation: Red Mountain
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • I first heard the siren song of Bordeaux while living in the French village of St-Germain-en-Laye. On our many trips to the region, we experienced the wines of Paulliac and Margaux in all their full-bodied elegance...

...Lunching along the Dordogne with a glass of local wine and some fois gras on a piece of crusty bread is a memory I’ll never truly forget. It’s been a love affair ever since.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is an expression of my life in France and of the Bordeaux wines t...

    2009 Zinfandel
  • Appellation: Wahluke Slope
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • Being a terrific chef, he loved to pair his favorite Zin’s with dishes like coq au vin, pot-au-feu, and big, juicy porterhouse steaks. I was his willing accomplice.

This Zinfandel is an expression of my youth in California, my eccentric father, and the wines that we both love. It is truly hand-crafted, made in small batches, and aged in French oak. It’s aromatic with dense fruit notes. You’ll taste blackberry jam, red currant, and a hint of chocolate. Bon appetit!

    2009 Adagio
  • Appellation: Wahluke Slope
  • Blend of Dolcetto, Zinfandel,
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • On a road trip from Venice to Marseille we had a “small accident” in Alba – the heart of Italy’s Piemonte region. Yes, I admit it; I was driving too fast in a small car...

...Luckily, with a few days to kill awaiting repairs, we were introduced to Dolcetto – Italy’s gift to pasta lovers. The rest of the story is a very happy one.

Dolcetto is what Piemontesi choose to drink “a tutto pasto,” or “with the meal.” Following local custom, we drank it while sampling agnolotti - stuffed p...

    2009 Piazza Nostra
  • Appellation: Wahluke Slope
  • Blend of Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon,
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • The air was clear and fragrant. The afternoon sunlight an inspiration. And, of course, there was the food and wine.

There in “piazza nostra” (our piazza) we sampled Tuscany in all its glory. Farm cheeses, melon, prosciutto, and ten versions of pasta. Our favorite: pappardelle al ragu cinghiale (pasta with wild boar sauce). We paired it with a wine from the famed Tignanello vineyards once owned by the Medici family. Pure heaven.

The “Piazza” is my tribute to that experience. I...

    2009 Auberge
  • Appellation: Rattlesnake Hills
  • Blend of Syrah, Grenache,
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • We went with friends to a cooking school in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. It’s a gorgeous village in the Bouches-du-Rhône region. Van Gough lived and painted there...

...The student kitchen was in an “auberge” (farmhouse/inn). Ah, the siren song of southern France.

While we experimented with making Gigot Rôti Provençal (roasted herbed leg of lamb), we sampled our way through dozens of Rhône wines. They were deep and full-bodied and served with local olives, farm cheese, and fois gras...

    2009 A Night in Madrid
  • Appellation: Wahluke Slope
  • Blend of Tempranillo, Grenache,
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • It may have been the pairing with the delicious tapas. No doubt the candles and gypsy music added to the romantic mood. It’s hard to say exactly, but I was enchanted by that wine and I heard its siren song.

The “Madrid” is my personal expression of that wine and that night. It’s a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes made in small vats and truly hand-crafted. It’s elegant and aromatic with faint notes of black cherry, pomegranate, and vanilla. ¡Buen provecho!

    2009 Chardonnay
  • Appellation: Columbia Valley
  • Winemaker: Kevin Brown
  • first heard the siren song of white burgundy while living in the French village of St-Germain-en-Laye. On our many trips to the Côte d'Or, we experienced the wines of Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, and Mersault in their full, buttery elegance. It’s been a love affair ever since...

This Chardonnay is an expression of my life in France and of the white burgundies that I love. It’s made in the French tradition using small vats and the “bâtonnage” (stirring the lees) technique which give...
