Ankeny Vineyard Winery is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley on the southernmost slopes of the Salem Hills. It overlooks the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge, home to thousands of migrating waterfowl. All of our wines are grown on the thirty-five acres of Ankeny Vineyard, planted on a south-facing slope on Steiwer and Nekia soils. The range of elevation is about 245 feet to 410 feet above sea level. The grape varieties planted are Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Marechal Foch and Early Muscat. They are all cane pruned in winter and trained to a variety of trellis types.
