    		 Our award wining wines will make your visit to our hilltop a refreshing experience. For us it began in the 1990's and a 1996 Omaha World Herald news article about Nebraska's first winery located at Pierce, NE, owned by Ed and Holly Swanson pushed us to persue our dream. That article hung on my office wall for two years before Loretta and I attended our first University of Nebraska viticulture workshop. From that point forward our quest was on. We searched for the right site and the rest is history in the making.
