Our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon has a spicy nose, a mixture of orange blossom, jasmine and leather. The fruit is all red: currant, raspberry and cherry. Although there is more than 75% new oak on this wine, the fruit holds its own all the way, giving up a bit of toasted almond at the end. Perhaps the soft, easy drinking structure, coupled with the intense and welcoming blackberry and blueberry aromas. Red ------------- ---	2009 Aridisol Red Appellation: Columbia Valley Blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot Winemaker: Gordon Taylor Our 2009 Aridisol is all Rhone: Syrah, Mourvedre and Durif (also known as Petite Sirah). Bold, deep purple-black in color, the heady blackberry and plum jam notes are layered in chocolate derived from time in northern Minnesota American oak barrels. The spice is light eucalyptus, cinnamon and black licorice with a pinch of tobacco. Aridisol, meaning "desert soils," is a testament to why I love Washington State wines. Buy Online Question?
