2005 Ingle Vineyard Cabernet Franc
Appellation: Finger Lakes
Winemaker: Thomas Laszlo
Full-bodied and layered with cassis, coffee, and cedar notes that promise to mesh well together with age. Originally the vineyard was planted to 95% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot to be the basis for this wine. Upon closer inspection we have identified a number of Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted amongst the Cabernet Franc, perhaps a mix-up at the vine nursery. 2005 Ingle Vineyard Pinot Noir
Appellation: Finger Lakes
Winemaker: Thomas Laszlo
A mix of clones coupled with ultra low yields have produced a lighter bodied yet ethereally aromatic Pinot Noir that surprises the taste. Despite being lighter in color this wine displays a real sense of terroir. Hand picked grapes are destemmed, but not crushed to maximize fruit and minimize bitter seed tannins, and then fermented on the skins. The wine is then aged 65% in new European (Hungarian, French, and Russian) oak and 35% in stainless steel.

2004 Ingle Vineyard Chardonnay
Appellation: Finger Lakes
Winemaker: Thomas Laszlo
This is a very structured Chardonnay with multiple layers of butter, vanilla and fruit that has taken its time in the bottle to really come together. Despite being 70% fermented in new oak barrels, the wine does not have appear to be oaky. The choice of proper barrel producers and oak sources plus the dedication to full ‘Sur Lie” treatment help greatly to integrate the oak with the wines more subtle characteristics.

2005 Ingle Vineyard Johannisberg Riesling
Appellation: Finger Lakes
Winemaker: Thomas Laszlo
A very structured single-vineyard Riesling that displays classic Riesling mineral and citrus character, lemony and stony with a squeaky fullness. The fruit forward wine has a distinct melon character that reveals itself in each vintage. As all fine Rieslings should, this wine finishes crisp and clean. The winery’s most consistent gold medal-winner, both here and abroad.
Acclaim: Recent awards include Gold Sweepstakes at the 2007 Monterey Wine Competition, Double Gold at the 2006 New York Wine and Food Classic and Gold at the 2007 San Diego International Wine Competition.
