    		 Zaca Mesa is a family-owned, estate winery dedicated to Rhone varieties. We hand craft our wines with character and integrity from grapes sustainably grown in our Santa Barbara County vineyard. We grow all our own grapes and have the benefit of farming this vineyard since 1973.

  • Our Syrah was hand harvested, gently sorted and destemmed, patiently fermented, and then aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. This big wine has lush blackberry, white pepper, cassis, mocha, our signature wild herb aromas and flavors, and soft ripe tannins with a long lingering finish. Savor it over the next ten years with grilled and roasted meats or bold cheeses.
