    Having studied viticulture and winemaking since 1979 and doing research on the viability of grape growing in Clark County, WA, Carl English planted 8 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Reisling. The English family used the grapes for personal winemaking over the years and in 2000 established English Estate Winery.
