Lowden Hills is a family owned boutique size winery established in 2002 by Jim & Sonja Henderson. Using grapes grown at their Win Chester Vineyards in the Lowden area of the Walla Walla Valley. Growing methods are sustainable and of organic methods producing natural wine grapes with yields cut to produce entense flavor and color extractions at the winery.

Winemaker Jim Henderson Jim, a former PGA of America Member, taught golf from 1967 until 2001. He also produced custom-fit golf clubs 1980 to the present. Jim wine education started with a home study course from UC Davis, Classes at Walla Walla Center of Enology & Viticulture and on the job training with local winemakers.
