    		 Springhill Winery & Vineyards is the oldest small winery in Kentucky, plantated in 1990 and bonded in 1992. Springhill represents the rennaisance of the wine industry of Kentucky which was the birthplace of America's wine industry in 1798. Springhill is located on a pre civil war plantation estate (circa 1857. At the time this old manor was built, Kentucky was the third largest wine producing state in the Country. The Plantation Manor now serves as an elegant Victorian Bed 'n Breakfast. Here three generations of our family have handcrafted Kentucky grown wines for your enjoyment.     Eddie has been making wine since 1986. He has earned over 16 medals in International commercial wine competitions. He is past president of the KVS , and the KWA. He is a historian of Kentucky's wine heritage.
