Refined nose of green herb, black pepper, cinnamon, cola, sausage and an earth component that is unique to Petit Verdot. Tighter than Padres in the mouth, more linear, but this has a core of singular flavor intensity. Built for the cellar, like Padres. An interesting pair to re-consider in a decade. Question?
