THE VILLA Inspired by the Tuscan farmhouse style which occupies every hilltop in Tuscany, this structure was built to warm the senses and remind all of the beauty and romance of Italy. Approximately 7,000 square feet, this three-story stucco villa houses the tasting room, a commercial kitchen, and special event room on the main floor. The lower floor provides storage for the bottled case goods. TASTING ROOM The 1,200 square foot tasting room is located on the south lawn portion of the villa. Fourteen foot high ceilings and a grand staircase to the upper floor, combined with the column graced tasting bar and fireplace, this room inspires any wine aficionado. Large enough to house the crowds of event weekends and comfortable for small parties, this room serves many purposes. The staircase of custom wrought iron brings an Italian flair and style which sets the tone in this room. Combined with the staircase, the granite covered front and back bar, you feel the presence of being in the old country. Warming yourself by the stone fireplace, enjoy the comfortable leather seating for conversation, or just take a break as you meet others at Chandler Reach Vineyards before continuing your tour of the beautiful wineries of the Yakima Valley or Red Mountain. |

Winemaker Len Parris
|
The owner of Chandler Reach Vineyards and Estate Winery, who started his wine career in 1997, has a varied background. Len has a construction background dating back to the 1970's. Currently he owns and operates a coffee business in the Seattle area. Inspired by a trip to Tuscany in 1997, Len developed a plan to bring that wine "romance" to Washington State. Len currently is active in the daily operation of the 42 acre vineyard and the winery. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
