2006 Chardonnay

In making the 2006 Canoe Ridge Chardonnay, we blended barrel fermented lots with crisp tank fermented lots and promoted only partial malolactic fermentation. Barrel aging lasted for four months in 100 percent French oak, 10 percent of which was new. This wine is wonderfully fresh, aromatically as well as structurally. 2006 Dry Riesling
Appellation: Columbia Valley
Winemaker: Christophe Paubert
In making the 2006 Riesling, we handpicked the grapes, destemmed the clusters, crushed directly into our bladder press and pressed immediately. Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the original fruit characters of the grapes. This wine offers fresh aromas of pineapple, peach and grapefruit with an herbal note and a touch of minerality.
