Like all of our red wines, our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is aged exclusively in hand selected, small French oak barrels that are meticulously chosen for their richness and suitability for a particular variety of wine. Our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon blend was aged for 20 months in mostly Taransaud and Sylvain barrels that beautifully framed in and lifted the fruit and earthiness from this vintage. The final blend displays bright cherry, black currants, graphite, cedar and cigar box aromas.

2006 Foreshadow
Appellation: Columbia Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon

Complex aromatics showing red to dark fruits: cherries, raspberries and black currants accented by cocoa, subtle herbs, cola and all spice. It enters the palate sweet, has a full, voluminous mid palate and shows flavors of plums, berries, figs and black olives rounded out with tar, dried herbs and an earthy minerality. The wine has a long finish that is layered with lush, fine grained tannins. Cellar 6-12 years.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

By blending in a little more Malbec, Petit Verdot and a touch of Syrah, this wine is very lush and approachable in its youth. Aromatically this Cabernet Sauvignon displays rich dark plum, black cherries, baker’s chocolate and roasted game aromas. The wine enters the palate very sweet with flavors of ripe cherries and black currants with hints of tea leaves, graphite and tobacco. A broad mid palate, with considerable weight is followed by sweet, ripe, supple tannins on the finish.

The 2006 Foreshadow Merlot's aromatics are complex and show sandalwood, resin, spice, Bing Cherries, violets and subtle dried herbs. It enters the palate slightly sweet, has a full, round mid palate and shows flavors of roasted caramel, red currants, figs and cherries that are accented by graphite and a scorched earth minerality. A medium to long finish that is layered with smooth, fine grained tannins. Cellar 5 – 8 years. Enjoy!
