    		 Mark Newton, founder, owner and winemaker has crafted wine from Washington State since 1984 and is dedicated to producing small-lot, Bordeaux-style wines of the highest quality. Current production includes: Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Meritage, and Ottimo, a premium Red Table Wine.

    Winemaker Hillary Sjolund
    Born in the town of Manchester, on northern California’s renowned Mendocino Coast, Hillary Sjolund started her career in wine as a harvest worker for Pine Ridge Winery. While attending the University of California, Davis, she traveled to Chile for a southern hemisphere harvest, working under Ricardo Rivadeneira at Vina Maquis. After graduating with a degree in Fermentation Science, she returned to Pine Ridge in Napa as assistant winemaker under Stacy Clark, responsible for all cellar operations. She also continued her education in the financial side of the wine business at Napa Valley College.At DiStefano, she is responsible for quality control from the vineyard to the bottle. The quality of a wine starts in the vineyards, she says. The winemaker’s job is to ensure that the wines reflect the grape variety and remain true to the vineyard where they’re grown.

  • Loaded with blueberries, bing cherries, strawberry, chocolate and anise. Subtle notes of dried herbs and cedar combined with a hint of violets and vanilla bean give many layers to this blend. Very juicy mid palate with firm tannin, good acidity, and a toasty finish.

  • Winemaker: Hillary Sjolund
  • A blend of terrior from 6 different vineyards across the Columbia Valley, this wine shows elegant black and red fruit on the nose dusted with a bit of black pepper, cedar and vanilla. A touch of violets and blackberry mixed with a bit of cherry cola, cocoa and just a pinch of mint. There is an element of earth and dried figs and dried cherries fold nicely into the many layers. Plenty of chewy tannin on the palate with a slightly toasted finish.

  • Made in our classic, signature style, the Sauvignon Blanc expresses many layers of delicious aromas and flavors. Lemon and lime citrus notes jump out of glass and tickle your nose along with exquisite floral undertones of orange blossom. The palate is loaded with citrus and floral flavors that accent great acidic structure. Extended lees contact has given the mid palate depth, added smoothness to the finish, yet the wine remains balanced and crisp.
