Made from 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes this wine is a nice balance of robust tannin and depth with plenty of fruit to remain approachable today. The nose has plenty of cherry blossom and vanilla for a 100% Cabernet. Layers of cherry, blackberry, and black currant are interspersed with fig, cola, and white pepper. The mid palate lingers with strawberry jam. Aged 22 months in French and American oak, with 40% new, this wine is balanced and ready for drinking now.
