2006 Chardonnay

The handpicked Chardonnay grapes were carefully hand sorted to control quality before the whole clusters were placed in the press. After gentle pressing and cold settling, the juice was racked off gross lees and inoculated with selected yeast. Most of the juice was fermented in stainless steel tank at cold temperature to preserve its freshness and the full expression of the varietal character. 2006 Pinot Gris
Appellation: Willamette Valley
Winemaker: Frederique Spencer
With its light straw color, this Pinot Gris displays a very clean, fruity nose, with aromas of pear, green apple, violet, minerals, and honey. The rich palate repeats with pear, fresh green apple, violet, and minerals with a long, cleansing finish of lemon. This wonderfully full-flavored Pinot Gris would pair nicely with creamy pasta dishes, onion tarts or fresh shellfish laced with butter.
