Our 2006 Elton Pinot Noir reminds me of Lauren Bacall- gorgeous and lithe in her youth, transforming into polished elegance as she matured. Decant our Elton for early drinking and you will be rewarded with a luxurious nose of flowers and huckleberry jam, cherries and huckleberries on the palate, then minerals and white pepper melding with the cherries on the long finish. If you are patient and lay down the Elton for 3-12 years, you will be rewarded with a wine worthy of a Bacall-Bogart toast.
