We are located in an 18,000 Square Foot school building built in 1955 and closed in 1977. Olde Country bought the building in March of 2006 and opened the winery on December 16,2006. Currently we have 1,300 vines and 250 fruit trees on sight, with six acres of land. We have about 35 growers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, & South Dakota. We are a Wine Expert Dealer. Wine is the answer, but I can't remember the question. When in West Central Minnesota, stop in and see one of Minnesota's Most unique wineries. Olde Country wines are very different from the traditional wines of the world. We treat our water special, it's 99.99% Pure and soft, witch makes our wines very smooth and light, with a very smooth mouth feel. We like a variety of wines and usually have 40 at the tasting bar. We have been blessed with visitors from all over the world. |

Winemaker Irv Moen Irv, has been making wine for over 40 years. He loves wine and loves to give winery tours, to share with people the in's and out's of wines & wine making. Irv was born in Grand Rapid, Minnesota. At the age of two moved to Lodi, California. Worked in the vineyards and fruit trees as a child growing up in California. Started making wine as a Marine durning the war. I have the best job in the world. I hand make wine that puts a smile on peoples faces. They share a part of their life, with me. Then they buy my wine, and take a part of me home with them. I do not know how, it could get any better. Yes, I love my job and all the people I work with every day. Since the first time I made wine, I was hooked and have been a constant study every since. One can not learn enough about something you love to do. |
