2007 Alder Springs Merlot

Until this release, Merlot has been relegated to a supporting role in our Summit blend, but in 2007 we held back eight barrels for this special bottling. It is dominated by sweet violets and an earthy, tobacco character on the nose with a seamless texture, oozing layers of dark fruit and cocoa in the mouth. This wine should age gracefully for the next 10 - 12 years! 100% Merlot. 190 cases. ...only 8 cases left!

This delicious Chardonnay exhibits nice tension with flavors and aromas of stone fruits, pineapple and baking spices.The gentle, and still-developing oak notes round out the palette.
