    Located in a Tuscan-inspired winery, just a few blocks north of historic downtown Carlton, Cana's Feast Winery has a rich history of combining our bold Northwest red wines with Mediterranean-style food, hospitality and celebration.

    Utilizing traditional and modern techniques in the cellar, we craft wines of richness and complexity that pair adeptly with food while retaining their respective varietal characteristics.

    Cana's Feast Winery is open for wine tasting seven days a week and easily accommodates both large and small groups for tours, tastings, dining and private events.

    Winemaker Patrick Taylor
    Patrick came to Cana's Feast Winery in 2004, working first under the tutelage of former owner/founder Gino Cuneo. Taking the reins in 2007, he has since been responsible for vineyard assessment and collaboration, harvest decisions (shared with Mother Nature), and directing the style and outcome for the wines.

    Patrick holds a Master of Science in Horticulture with research in Viticulture and Oenology, and a Magna cum Laude Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Bioresource Research from Oregon State University. He served briefly as Assistant Winemaker at Torii Mor, worked a number of harvests for local producers Andrew Rich and Benton Lane, as well as with Nepenthe Winery in Adelaide Hills, Australia.

    Patrick enjoys collaborating with local and international winemakers. Among other recent projects, Taylor has bent his energy toward developing his version of a rare style of craft vermouth known as Chinato.

  • This is our first production of this unique wine and likely the first domestic interpretation of Barolo Chinatos. Infused with over 18 different herbs, spices, flowers and aromatic/digestive botanicals, the base is our own Nebbiolo wine with added grape neutral spirits and a touch of sugar. Savor a glass of this memorable wine after dinner as a digestivo or enjoy it mixed into your favorite cocktail. Salute'.

  • A refreshing change from a string of warm, ripe vintages, this wine is 100% Pommard and offers elegant aromas of red fruits and nuances of turned earth and violets. Berry size was nearly twice what we typically observe for this site, contributing to the lighter-than-normal color of the finished wine.

    2007 Sangiovese Grosso
  • Appellation: Columbia Valley
  • Winemaker: Patrick Taylor
  • The 2007 Sangiovese Grosso is made entirely from the VCR-6 clone sourced from Ciel du Cheval vineyard in the Red Mountain region in Washington. This clone is the same used in the celebrated Brunello di Montalcino wines from Italy. Less than four acres of VCR-6 were put in exclusively for Cana's Feast in 2002 at Ciel du Cheval, and they are the first certified plantings of this clone in the United States.

  • Bright bing cherry and zesty red fruits mingle with a subtle hints of darker sweet andsicey wood aromas. The entry of this wine is almost delicate, with red fruit and leather supported by talc-like tannins and juicy fruit and leather supported by talc-like tannins and a juicy lingering acidity.

  • Aromas of sweet plum and barrel spice combine with subtle hints of vanilla , Bing cherry and cassis. Complex layers of huckleberry, blackberry, brown sugar and vanilla coat the palate with soft, well-structured tannins and lingering acidity. This is the first vintage of our Bricco Two Rivers Reserve, a thirteen-barrel blend that was designed to be distinctively different from our other Bordeaux style blends.
