100% Carneros District (Napa side), 100% Pinot Noir. Medium garnet color with slight blue at edges. Attractive spicy, ripe blueberry mouth coordinates well with fresh-earth flavors. The mouth feel is supple and maintains a good balance between berry and earth flavors, leading to a long finish.

Our Cabernet is 100% Monterey County, 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot. After two years in French cooperage, we gave the wine over a year in the bottle before releasing it, which allowed it to develop the well-knit balance we wanted. That bottle aging becomes immediately apparent in the wine’s well-knit, forward nose with cassis black pepper chocolate and olive flavors.

After many trial cuvees, our Merlot is 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon to give the wine both structure and lively fruit. It spent 16 months on French oak. The wine starts with a bright red color and a combination of ripe red cherries, blackberries from the Merlot with a hint on herbal complexity from the Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium bodied with an excellent acid/tannin balance. and a long finish.

This wine comes from the Bien Nacido vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. After fermentation, we matured the wine in French and American barrels for two years. It has a deep violet color with assertive dark fruit nose, pleasantly spicy mouth suggesting pepper and ripe berry.17.50
