Syrah
The 2006 Torrin Akasha is 100% Syrah. The blend consists of 80% Syrah from an incredibly rocky north facing slope on our estate vineyard and 20% Syrah from the acclaimed James Berry Vineyard. Our Syrah consists of about 25% whole cluster and the balance destemmed whole berries fermented in a combination of small open top fermentors and open top puncheons.
