Red ------------- ---	2006 Venteux Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Appellation: Paso Robles Winemaker: Scott Stelzle We source this fabulous fruit from the organically farmed Starr Ranch on the far west side of Paso Robles. 3 Taransaud French oak barrels were home for 24 months which may explain the sweet oak frame. One of the few 100% Cabernet Sauvignon’s made in Paso Robles, this wine is varietally true with briar patch, chocolate, vanilla and licorice on the nose followed by flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant/cassis and a hint of spice rack on the finish. 75 cases produced Question? Red ------------- ---	2006 Syrah Appellation: Paso Robles Winemaker: Scott Stelzle Rich Syrah character abounds in this deep brickish red wine. Intriguing scents of leather, smoky beef, black pepper, toast and a hint of violets lead into rich flavors of dark plum, mocha, mushrooms and other brooding earth tones. Firm acid gives way to resolved tannins with a lingering finish spiced with white pepper, toffee and vanilla. 150 cases produced Question?
